I love the simplicity, complexity, aroma, flavor and even history of the old fashioned. It can be whipped up in a matter of seconds with 3 simple ingredients of whiskey, bitters, and simple syrup, or it can be crafted carefully with many ingredient and garnish variations. This is the best old fashioned I've ever had.
