Holiday Cocktail #1: Fireball Cider Bomb

Bacon and eggs, burger and fries... apple cider and Fireball Cinnamon Whisky. Some foods were meant for each other. Meet Fireball Cider Bomb. While many of us at Aged & Charred are whiskey purists at heart, we're also suckers for trying something new. We have families, and jobs, and families...i.e. not 45 minutes to prepare a drink.
We are all about trying new craft cocktails, ideally which we have most of the ingredients at home, and we're willing to make a quick stop for an extra one or two. The Fireball Cider Bomb meets our criteria. It's a few simple ingredients, a few minutes of prep, and fantastic cocktail to enjoy with one or many, especially over the holidays. Apple cider is a staple at many homes over the holidays. Fireball Cinnamon Whisky is a fan favorite. Add a garnish of apple wedge, a cocktail cherry, a lil' smoke and Oh Em Gee...
Let's get to it.
Ingredients:- 2 ounces Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey
- 3 ounces apple cider
- Apple slices
- Cocktail Cherry + syrup
- Fill a cocktail shaker 1/4 full with ice cubes
- Add in the Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey and apple cider; Shake until chilled thoroughly
- Strain into rocks or cocktail glass of your choice
- Use a teaspoon to scoop a cocktail cherry plus some syrup into the drink and stir until all ingredients are mixed
- Garnish with apple slices
- Smoke the drink with Smoke Lid from Aged & Charred. Allow smoke to settle on top of drink for 10-20 seconds and serve.
